I had a very interesting time catching up with John Cooper recently. Some of you may know him from the Golf Communique emails that he sends out on a regular basis on all matters golf. It was great hearing how he pioneered golf travel overseas for New Zealanders in the 1970’s & 1980’s. He also told me about how he and a Golf Pro came up with the scoring system that we at Charlies and other tour companies use when on tour.
