About Charlie's Golf Tours

Charlie's Golf Tours ran its first tour to Queensland in 1999 and continued with tours to the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast through to the end of 2004 when Ian and Rosie Armstrong bought the business.

That's us in the photo and from 2005 through to late 2011 we developed three new Australian destinations and four exciting new destinations beyond Australia. The first was Argentina in 2008, followed by South Africa in 2009 and then Central Africa in 2010. This year's new tour was Vietnam and next year, 2012, we will visit China for the first time.

With more than 60 tours behind us we will continue to offer old favourites such as the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast alongside the more extensive tours further afield and our experience ensures you can enjoy a hassle free golf holiday.

We were originally involved in farming but then became involved in the tourism industry prior to acquiring Charlies Golf Tours. We have extensive people skills from involvement in numerous community organisations and from dealing with tourists on a day to day basis.

We own and operate the business so any enquiries come directly to us. We are always happy to answer any questions you may have regarding our tours and will help you decide which tour is likely to suit your particular requirements best. We don't operate a "hard sell" policy but rely on word of mouth to endorse our product. Our customers come from all over New Zealand so there will be someone in your region we can point you to for a reference.

Flexibility is important to the individual and, wherever possible, we will cater to your special needs. Whether it be extending your stay or a particular dietary requirement, if it can be done we will arrange it.
